Sales Manager
Job Description:
Manage the Center’s sales team comprising the outside sales, inside sales and emerging business rep teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be the leader for the sales team and create a motivational and learning environment
- In conjunction with the general manager, preparation and successful implementation of a sales and marketing strategy applicable to the local market place
- Set delivered revenue and profit quotas for all sales personnel
- Determine, recruit, retain, manage and evaluate the best blend of sales personnel to achieve the sales and marketing strategy
- One-on-one coaching sessions with each direct report weekly
- Application and internalization of SECURE ITnet sales processes in all sales employees
- Maintain current knowledge of SECURE ITnet’s solutions and services
- Membership in 2 networking groups or other organizations as determined by CEO
- Take responsibility for significant 3rd party relationships
- Oversee the organization of certification nights
- Minimum of 5 sales calls per week with sales team members (defined as appointment with a decision maker)
- Design and implement SPIF programs to support the sales and marketing strategy
- Review and if necessary, prepare and present sales proposals
- Introduce and demonstrate new and existing services to clients and sales team
- Development of sales department personnel including major account, territory, inside sales and emerging business reps
- Develop and support strong client relationships
- Manage on-going activities in current accounts in conjunction with Administrative, Technical and Marketing departments
- Support the development of new business on an ongoing basis
- Maintain territory and account penetration
- Monitor Connectwise for maintenance of all ongoing account activity ensuring the sales team

- Responsible for accuracy of weekly sales forecasts which look out a minimum of 90 days
- Organize and run weekly sales department meetings
- Organize, supervise the preparation of and review annual territory sales plans and quarterly account profiles
- Ensure sales team reviews accounts receivable agings and participates in the collection process as necessary
- Update sales team with competitive information
- Keep sales team updated on industry news and trends
- Achieve monthly delivered revenue and profitability goals
- Ensure sales team fulfills monthly activity requirements and completes monthly activity summary reports
- Calculate monthly commissions for sales team
- Meet DEADLINES requested by management
Qualifications:
- More than five (5) years proven industry sales experience with two (2) years proven sales management experience
- Good general understanding of business issues and challenges
- Good understanding of the local market
- Microsoft Sales Specialist designation
- Sales experience in a consulting or services industry dealing with owners in SMB companies helpful
- Proven record of success with selling business solutions
- Knowledge of computer software (i.e., MS Office, Connectwise)
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Proven project management skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Dependable, hard working individual with self confidence
